Why does my D chord sound out of tune?
Thanks. Your technique may be such that the way you’re pressing the strings in that particular shape is putting some extra tension on one of the strings (like bending slightly) causing the chord to sound out of tune. Better technique can help some, and heavier strings will help with this too.
